Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
2. Age Limit (as on 1st August 2025)
- General & OBC Candidates: 18–28 years (upper age relaxation: 5 years)
- SC/ST Candidates: 18–33 years (upper age relaxation: 10 years)
- Candidates born between 01 August 1997 and 01 August 2007 are eligible for Gen/OBC category, while candidates born between 01 August 1992 and 01 August 2007 qualify for SC/ST category.
3. Educational Qualification
- Minimum required qualification: Pass 10th grade (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
4. Sports Qualification
Candidates must have participated in any of the following competitions:
- International Competitions – Certified by the Secretary of the National Federation of the relevant game.
- National Competitions – Certified by the Secretary of the National Federation or State Association of the sport.
- Inter-University Tournaments – Certified by the Dean of Sports or equivalent authority.
- National Sports/Games for Schools – Certified by the Director of Public Instructions/Education of the State.
- Khelo India Youth Games/University Games/Winter Games – Certified by Sports Authority of India (SAI) officer in charge.
Note: Only certificates from the authorities mentioned above are considered valid for eligibility.
Recruitment Process
- Online Application and Screening
- Candidates must complete the online registration and payment process.
- Application portal will remain active from 16th August 2025 to 15th September 2025.
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Candidates’ physical attributes (height, weight, chest measurement, etc.) will be assessed.
- Motor Ability Test
- Evaluation of speed, endurance, and agility.
- Field Trial
- Sports-specific trial to assess candidate performance in the selected discipline.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
- Comprehensive medical evaluation to confirm fitness for service.
- Review Medical Examination (RME)
- Additional examination if needed, to ensure standards are met.
Important: Candidates must produce original payment receipts/challan and a printed copy of the online application along with the call letter at the rally site. Failing to produce these documents may lead to rejection of candidature.
