Vacancy Details

The recruitment includes two major positions:

1. Airport Ground Staff

  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed 12th grade or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.
  • Age Limit: 18–30 years.
  • Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month.
  • Number of Seats: 1,017
  • Eligibility: Both males and females; freshers can also apply.
  • Special Note: Candidates with ITI/10th + ITI are also eligible.

Nature of Work:
Airport Ground Staff will primarily handle passenger check-in, ticket reservation, boarding procedures, and other terminal operations. The job requires ensuring passenger and airline satisfaction, maintaining a professional demeanor, and adhering to airport operational protocols. The job includes three shifts, including night shifts, with weekly offs rotating among employees. Career growth is performance-based.

2. Airport Loader

  • Educational Qualification: 10th pass from a recognized board.
  • Age Limit: 20–40 years.
  • Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month.
  • Number of Seats: 429
  • Eligibility: Only male candidates.

Nature of Work:
Airport Loaders are responsible for baggage and cargo handling, including loading/unloading from aircraft and trolleys. They may also assist in cabin cleaning, aircraft maintenance, and workshop operations under the supervision of technicians. Additional responsibilities include providing wheelchair assistance to passengers. The role requires working in three shifts, including nights, with weekly offs on a rotating schedule. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Requirements

  1. Airport Ground Staff:
    • Candidates must have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board.
    • ITI certification or vocational training in the relevant field is acceptable.
    • Both male and female candidates are eligible.
  2. Airport Loader:
    • Candidates must have passed the 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board.
    • Only male candidates are eligible.

  • No aviation or airline certificate/diploma is required.
  • Age relaxation is not applicable for any category.

The recruitment process consists of two stages for Airport Ground Staff and a single stage for Airport Loaders:

1. Written Examination

  • Exam Duration: 90 minutes

    • English Knowledge: 25 marks (not applicable for Loaders)

B. Aptitude & Reasoning

  • Problem-solving, analysis, non-verbal reasoning
  • Age calculation, calendar, and clock
  • Number system, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages
  • Time and work, time and distance, partnership, profit and loss

C. English Knowledge

  • Grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, synonyms and antonyms
  • Comprehension and paragraph-based questions (only for Airport Ground Staff)

D. Aviation Knowledge

  • Basics of Indian aviation

Exam Guidelines:

2. Personal Interview (Only for Airport Ground Staff)

  • Applicants who clear the written exam will be called for a personal interview.
