Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the required nationality, age, educational qualification, and experience before applying.

1. Nationality / Citizenship

Applicant must be:

  • A citizen of India, OR
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, OR
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to settle permanently, OR
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam to settle permanently in India.

Candidates under categories (other than Indian citizens) must hold an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

2. Age Limit (as on 01.09.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 23 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years
    (Candidates must have been born between 02.09.1990 and 01.09.2002 inclusive.)

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years

3. Educational Qualification & Work Experience

(A) Credit Manager – MMGS-II

  • Qualification:
    • Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
    • OR Professional degree such as CA / CMA / CFA / MBA (Finance) from a recognized institute.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as Branch Manager, or in Credit Appraisal/Processing in a Scheduled Commercial Bank.

(B) Agriculture Manager – MMGS-II

  • Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Animal Husbandry / Forestry / Veterinary Science / Agriculture Engineering / Pisciculture / Dairy or equivalent, with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank.

Important Notes on Qualification:

  • Candidates must calculate percentages correctly and provide a conversion certificate if their university awards CGPA/OGPA.
  • 59.99% will not be rounded to 60%. Similarly, 54.99% will not be considered as 55%.
  • Experience certificates must be submitted as proof during the application and interview stages.

Roles & Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be appointed as Specialist Officers in MMGS-II with responsibilities aligned to their field.

Credit Manager:

  • Credit appraisal, processing, and operations.
  • Customer relationship management and acquisition.
  • Sales and business development.
  • Branch operations and management.
  • Any other task assigned by higher authorities.

Agriculture Manager:

  • Promoting and managing agricultural finance products.
  • Facilitating government schemes for farmers and agri-entrepreneurs.
  • Customer acquisition and relationship building.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Bank.

Salary & Benefits

Specialist Officers in MMGS-II will receive salary and allowances as per the IBA (Indian Banks’ Association) guidelines for public sector banks.

  • Basic Pay: ₹48,170/- – ₹69,810/- (Approx.)
  • Fixed Emoluments: DA, HRA, CCA, Medical, Pension, and other perks as per bank rules.
  • Annual CTC (approx.): ₹10–12 lakhs depending on posting and allowances.

Selection Process
