Pay Scale

All selected candidates will be appointed at Level 4 in the Bihar State Pay Matrix, which corresponds to a salary range of:

₹25,500 – ₹81,100 per month

In addition to the basic pay, candidates will be entitled to allowances as per Government of Bihar rules, including:

  • House Rent Allowance (HRA)
  • Dearness Allowance (DA)
  • Transport Allowance
  • Other allowances as applicable

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Intermediate (10+2) or Equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
  • Typing Skills: Hindi typing for most departments; Hindi & English typing for selected departments.
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer operations and word processing is mandatory.

Reservation Policy

  • SC / ST / OBC / EBC / Women – Posts are reserved as per Government of Bihar norms.
  • Freedom Fighter Descendants – Certain vacancies are reserved for sons/daughters/grandchildren.
  • Differently-abled candidates – Reservation provided as per norms.
  • Horizontal Reservation – 35% of vacancies for women candidates in each category.
