Apprentice/2025-26 dated 26th September 2025 for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This recruitment drive offers a golden opportunity for ITI-qualified candidates across multiple trades to secure apprenticeship training at various divisions and units under East Central Railway.

A total of 1,149 apprenticeship slots are available across divisions including Danapur, Dhanbad, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Sonpur, Samastipur, Plant Depot, Carriage Repair Workshop (Harnaut), and Mechanical Workshop (Samastipur). Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications only through the online mode on the official RRC/ECR website.

The online application portal opens on 26th September 2025 and will remain active until 25th October 2025 (23:59 hrs). Candidates are advised to apply well before the last date to avoid last-minute technical glitches.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 25th October 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 15 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years

Selection Process
