Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications
For Medical Candidates:
- MBBS degree with Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS or equivalent).
- DM/M.Ch (Super-specialties) where applicable.
For Non-Medical Candidates (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, etc.):
- Master’s Degree in relevant subject.
- Doctorate (Ph.D.) in concerned discipline.
Experience Requirements
- Professor – 14 years teaching/research (or 11–12 years depending on DM/M.Ch course duration).
- Additional Professor – 10 years (or 7–8 years for DM/M.Ch).
- Associate Professor – 6 years (or 3–4 years for DM/M.Ch).
- Assistant Professor – 3 years (or 1 year for DM/M.Ch; no experience needed for 3-year DM/M.Ch).
DNB Equivalence: Candidates with DNB must provide documentary proof of equivalence to MD/MS/DM/M.Ch.
Age Limit (as on closing date)
- Professor / Additional Professor: Max. 58 years
- Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: Max. 50 years
