Eligibility Criteria

3. Medical Officers

  • Qualification: MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Indian Medical Council.
  • Internship: Completion of mandatory internship is required.
  • Registration: Must be registered with Gujarat Medical Council.
  • Experience: Candidates with prior experience in government institutions or under the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Urban Health Society will be given preference.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.

Salary Structure

The salary and honorarium are fixed according to the post:

  1. Full-Time Consultants – ₹1,10,000/- per month
  2. Visiting Consultants – ₹15,000/- per unit/session
  3. Medical Officers – ₹65,000/- per month

  • Emergency Duties: Candidates must be available beyond office hours if required during emergency situations.
  • Benefits: No additional allowances or benefits apart from the fixed salary/honorarium.
  • Bond: Candidates must sign the contract within 15 days of joining at their own expense.
