1. Assistant Professor (Contract) – CUCEK

CUSAT is inviting applications for contractual Assistant Professor positions in the following divisions:

Consolidated Salary:

• ₹42,000 per month for Ph.D. holders
• ₹40,000 per month for others

Tenure and Terms:

• Initial contract period: 1 year, extendable up to 2 years.
• Appointment duration: July to April, with break during May-June vacation months.
• All appointments will adhere to the reservation rules of the Government of India.
• Service conditions, emoluments, and other benefits will be governed by the CUSAT University Act, Statutes, Ordinances, and Syndicate Decisions.

2. Technician Grade I / Technical Assistant Grade I – Electrical & Electronics Engineering

CUSAT is inviting applications for Technical Staff positions on contract basis in the Division of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering:

Age Limit: 18 to 36 years as on 1st January 2025, with relaxation for SC/ST and backward communities as per government rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor (Contract) – CUCEK

Divisions 1 to 4 (Engineering Branches):

• B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in relevant branch.
• First Class or equivalent in at least one degree.

Information Technology Specific Combinations:

1. B.Tech (CS) + M.Tech (IT)
2. B.Tech (CS) + M.Tech (CS)
3. B.Tech (IT) + M.Tech (IT)

MCA Division:

• B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class in any one degree
• OR B.E. / B.Tech. + MCA with First Class in any one degree
• OR 3-year Graduation with Mathematics as a compulsory subject + MCA with First Class + 2 years relevant experience after MCA

Technician / Technical Assistant – EEE Division

• Technician Grade I: First Class ITI Electrical / Electrical & Electronics depending on the post.
• Technical Assistant Grade I: First Class 3-Year Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.

General Eligibility Notes:

• Candidates must fulfill the educational qualification requirements from recognized boards or universities.
• Applicants should possess relevant experience where applicable.
