The Nagaland Police Department has always played a crucial role in maintaining peace, law, and order across the state. With its deep roots in local traditions and a strong sense of community service, the Nagaland Police force represents the strength and resilience of the Naga people.

To enhance its manpower and improve operational efficiency, the department is now conducting a major recruitment drive for Constable (GD) posts. The drive is open only to Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland — both male and female — belonging to recognized Naga tribes.

This recruitment is unique because it follows an open rally format, meaning eligible candidates can appear in their respective district headquarters for the selection process. The initiative provides equal opportunity for all Indigenous Naga youth to serve in the state police, regardless of socio-economic background.
