Application Fees

  • The application form can be obtained from the Temple Head Office upon payment of ₹100/-.
  • This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria (General)

  1. Age Limit: The candidate must have completed 18 years of age and must not be above 45 years of age as of November 5, 2025.
  2. Religion: The applicant must belong to the Hindu religion.
  3. Medical Fitness: Candidates must be in good physical health, free from any infectious diseases and bad habits. A certificate from a certified medical practitioner attesting to this must be submitted with the application.
  4. Character & Antecedents:
    • Candidates must provide a Conduct Certificate from the last educational institution attended, plus two Conduct Certificates from two Government Officials obtained after this advertisement’s date.
    • An Online Police Clearance Certificate stating that no criminal cases are pending against them must be submitted.
    • Individuals with a criminal conviction, those bound over for good behavior or peace, those declared insolvent, those dismissed from service from any other institution or temple, and those who have filed cases against the temple are not eligible to apply.
  5. Temple Dues: Those who are encroaching on temple properties, owe dues to the temple, or have caused losses to the temple are not eligible. If discovered later, their appointment will be terminated and criminal action may be initiated.
  6. Character and Habits: Selection will favor those of good character, adhering to the sanctity and traditions of the temple. Smokers, consumers of intoxicants, individuals practicing polygamy, and alcoholics are ineligible.

How to Apply

  1. Obtain the Form: Eligible candidates must personally visit the Head Office of the Arulmigu Subramaniyaswami Temple, Thiruttani, during office hours from October 8, 2025, to November 4, 2025 (until 5:45 PM), to collect the application form upon payment of ₹100. Forms will not be sent by post.
  2. Prepare Documents: The completed application form must be accompanied by self-attested copies of the following documents:

Selection Process

  1. Scrutiny & Call for Interview: Applications will be scrutinized, and only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for an interview.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates must appear for the interview in person on the specified date and time at their own expense. They must bring all their original certificates for verification.
  3. Police Verification & Final Approval: The selected candidate will undergo a police verification process. The final appointment will be made only after the satisfactory completion of this verification and upon receipt of approval from the Commissioner, HR&CE Department, Chennai.
