Scholarship Amount

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.

  3. Must have passed Class 10 from a recognized board.
  4. Must rank among the top 2,000 students in the merit list.
  5. Must be enrolled in Class 11 or a recognized professional/technical course.
  6. Must be a regular student at a recognized institution.

Reservation Policy

  • The scheme is exclusively for general category students.
  • No additional reservations apply under this specific scheme.
  • Other state-level scholarships exist for SC, ST, OBC, and economically weaker students.

Distribution of Scholarships

  • Annually, 2,000 scholarships are awarded to top-performing students.
  • Selection is strictly merit-based according to Class 10 results.
  • Scholarship is provided for two consecutive academic years post matriculation.
  • Funds are transferred via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to ensure authenticity and timeliness.

Application Process (Step by Step)

Step 1: New Registration

  • Visit the official scholarship portal and click “New Registration”.
  • Read the guidelines and terms carefully.
  • Accept the terms and click “Continue”.

Step 2: Fill Registration Form

  • Complete all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*).
  • Submit accurate personal and academic details.
  • On submission, note down the Application ID and password sent via SMS.

Step 3: Login and Password Reset

  • Log in using Application ID and password, enter Captcha.
  • Enter OTP received on registered mobile number.
  • Reset password and submit to access the Applicant Dashboard.

Step 4: Fill the Application Form

  • Click “Application Form” on the dashboard.
  • Enter all required personal, academic, and bank details.
  • Upload necessary documents including photograph, Aadhaar, bonafide certificate, previous marksheets, bank statement, and general category certificate.
  • Click “Save as Draft” to complete later or “Final Submit” to complete the application.

Important Notes:

  • Ensure all details are accurate; once submitted, no changes can be made.
  • Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
  • Keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference.

Documents Required

  1. Passport size photograph.
  2. Aadhaar card (UID/EID).
  3. Himachal Pradesh bonafide certificate.
  4. Previous year(s) result cards from matriculation onwards.
  5. Latest bank statement of the student’s account.
  6. General category certificate issued by an officer not below Tehsildar.
