All the positions are located primarily at C-DAC Mohali, though selected candidates may be deployed across various project sites in India as per organizational needs.

Nature of Engagement

All positions are purely contractual and carry consolidated remuneration. The initial appointment will be for one to three years or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Based on performance, project continuity, and organizational requirements, the contract period may be extended. These are not regular or permanent posts, and candidates will not be entitled to claim regular employment with C-DAC.

Eligibility Criteria

To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, candidates must fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions in terms of educational qualification, experience, and age limit as of the last date of application.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates should possess a degree from an AICTE/UGC-approved college or recognized university.
• Those following the CGPA/DGPA/OGPA system must provide a certificate from their institution showing the equivalent percentage and class of degree.
• Candidates currently in their final semester may apply, provided they complete their qualifying examination before the appointment date. Appointment will be subject to submission of proof of qualification with the required minimum marks.

Experience Requirements

• Only post-qualification experience in relevant domains will be considered.
• Teaching, academic projects, internships, or non-profit organization work will not count as professional experience unless otherwise specified.
• Candidates must produce valid experience certificates clearly indicating the duration of employment, designation, and salary details.
• C-DAC employees must have completed at least two years of service to be eligible for these openings.
• Candidates with higher experience within the prescribed bracket may be granted additional increments as per C-DAC policy.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit will vary according to the specific position and experience level. Relaxations are applicable as per Government of India norms:

• SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities will receive age relaxation as per central guidelines.
• Government employees on a regular pay scale are eligible for up to five years of relaxation.
• The cut-off date for age and experience is the last date of submission, i.e., October 20, 2025.
• Candidates must present relevant certificates such as birth proof, caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate, or EWS certificate in the prescribed format during document verification.
• Applications of candidates exceeding the prescribed age limit will be rejected.

Salary Scale

Selected candidates will receive an attractive consolidated salary package, depending on the position, qualification, and experience.

• Project Engineer / PS&O Executive: Remuneration commensurate with experience, typically ranging between ₹6 to 8 lakhs per annum.
• Senior Project Engineer / Project Leader / Module Lead: Higher pay scale, usually between ₹9 to 12 lakhs per annum, based on experience and expertise.

Additional increments may be considered for candidates with significant industry experience, specialized technical skills, or outstanding credentials. All appointments are consolidated (without DA or other allowances) as per C-DAC norms.

Selection Process

The selection process will include multiple stages to ensure that only the most suitable candidates are chosen:

1. Screening of Applications: An initial screening will be based on the academic record, experience, and other details submitted in the online form.
2. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for further evaluation, which may include a written or technical test followed by a personal interview.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified for authenticity before the final offer.
4. Final Selection: Based on cumulative performance in all stages, academic achievements, and professional background.

The management reserves full discretion to modify the selection criteria, introduce additional tests, or shortlist only a limited number of candidates for interview depending on the volume of applications received. The decision of C-DAC shall be final and binding.
