Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality:
Must be one of the following:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal, or
- Person of Indian Origin who has migrated from specified countries with intention of permanently settling in India
Age Limit:
- Born between 2nd January 2007 and 1st January 2010 (both dates inclusive)
- Age as on 1st July 2026: 16½ to 19½ years
Educational Qualifications:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM subjects
- Must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2025 examination
Marital Status:
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible
- Candidates must give undertaking not to marry until completion of full training

- Must meet the medical standards specified for Indian Army officers

Salary and Benefits:
During Training:
- Stipend during 4th year of training: ₹56,100/- per month
- Full boarding, lodging and medical facilities
- Engineering degree upon successful completion
After Commissioning as Lieutenant:
- Starting Salary: Approximately ₹17-18 lakhs per annum (CTC)
- Pay Scale: Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Military Service Pay: ₹15,500/- per month
