Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Raebareli Senior Resident Recruitment 2025

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for Senior Resident (Non-Academic) must possess the following qualifications:

  1. A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
    (Candidates holding qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule must also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act.)
  2. Registered with the Central or State Medical Council.
  3. For Broad Specialities: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned speciality or equivalent degree.
  4. For Super Specialities: MD/MS/DNB in the related broad speciality or DM/M.Ch/DNB in the concerned super speciality.

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 45 years as on the date of interview.
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
    • OBC candidates: 3 years
    • PwD candidates: As per Govt. of India norms

AIIMS Raebareli Senior Resident Salary 2025

Selected candidates will receive salary as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations:

  • Pay Matrix: Level-11
  • Basic Pay: ₹67,700/- per month + NPA (Non-Practising Allowance) for medical personnel.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be purely on merit basis through the following stages:

  1. Walk-in Interview:
    Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the interview conducted at AIIMS Raebareli on the scheduled dates.
  2. Written Test (if required):
    If the number of applicants is large, a written examination (MCQ-based) in the concerned subject will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.
  3. Document Verification:
    Verification of original certificates and eligibility documents will be done before the interview.

Tenure and Terms of Appointment

  • The appointment is purely on adhoc basis for an initial period of six months from the date of joining.
  • The tenure may be extended based on satisfactory performance and institutional requirements.
  • The appointment automatically lapses after six months unless extended further.
  • The position does not confer any right for permanent or regular employment at AIIMS Raebareli.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. The appointment is temporary and can be terminated at any time by either party without notice or reason.
  2. The appointee will not be entitled to government service benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Treatment, or Promotion.
  3. The selected candidate will be a whole-time employee of AIIMS Raebareli and cannot engage in private practice or hold any other assignment.
  4. Candidates must be medically fit as certified by a competent medical board of the institute.
  5. Leave entitlements will be governed as per DoPT rules.
  6. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining the post.
  7. Candidates must carry original certificates, testimonials, and NOC (if applicable) at the time of the interview.
  8. Any false declaration or suppression of facts will result in immediate termination and legal action.
  9. The Director, AIIMS Raebareli reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
