The Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL) has officially announced its Apprenticeship Recruitment for the year 2025–26. This recruitment is being conducted under the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, as amended in subsequent years (1973, 1986, 1992, 2014, and 2019).
Through this initiative, CSPTCL invites applications from eligible engineering graduates, science graduates, and diploma holders for one-year apprenticeship training in various technical and non-technical disciplines.
The apprenticeship program aims to enhance the practical skills of young professionals by providing them with hands-on industry experience in the field of power transmission. Candidates who complete the training successfully will receive a Certificate of Proficiency from the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Western Region), Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates should ensure that they meet all eligibility requirements mentioned below:
(A) Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering Stream):
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/EEE or Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution. - Graduate Apprentice (General Stream):
Must have completed B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) in any science discipline from a recognized university. - Technician Apprentice (Diploma Holders):
Must have passed a Diploma in Electrical/EEE or Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
(B) Qualification Validity
- The degree or diploma must have been completed within the last 5 years from the date of notification (i.e., not before 6 November 2020).
- Candidates who completed their qualification more than 5 years ago are not eligible.
(C) Experience Restriction
- Applicants who have one year or more of work experience are not eligible.
- Those who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any other organization will also be disqualified.
(D) Registration Requirement
- All candidates must be registered on the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal.
- A valid NATS registration number along with proof must be mentioned in the application form.
Pay Scale / Monthly Stipend
During the one-year training period, selected candidates will receive the following monthly stipend:

Note:
- No additional benefits such as accommodation, travel allowance, or food facilities will be provided.
- Apprentices will have to manage their own accommodation and travel expenses.
The upper age limit for the post of Senior Manager (Technical) – E4 under NHIDCL Technical Cadre Recruitment 2025 has been defined as per government norms.
Age Limit:
- Maximum Age Limit: Generally 56 years for candidates applying on a deputation or contract basis.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: Up to 5 years
- OBC (NCL) candidates: Up to 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen and Government Employees: As per the Government of India guidelines.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Relaxation as applicable under central government rules.
Selection Process
The selection process will be purely merit-based. There will be no written test or interview for this recruitment process.
- For Graduate Apprentices:
The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the degree examination. - For Technician Apprentices:
The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the diploma examination.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further verification and document review.
Candidates must note that completion of apprenticeship training does not guarantee employment with CSPTCL.
Training Details and Rules
- The apprenticeship training will be conducted for one year only.
- Training will be provided only during official working hours.
- Apprentices will be eligible for:
- 13 days of casual leave
- 10 days of medical leave
- Medical facilities will be available only at company dispensaries (where available).
- If the apprentice’s performance or behavior is unsatisfactory, their training may be terminated immediately.
- In case of an accident during the training period, compensation will be provided as per the Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923.
- After successful completion, apprentices will receive a Certificate of Proficiency issued by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Western Region, Mumbai.
