PEA Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 484 UDC, Agriculture Officer & Other Posts

Educational Qualification

• CSL Posts (Junior Library Attendant / Gallery Assistant):
  Pass in SSLC / Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/University.
• CHSL Posts (Artist / Lower Division Clerk):
  H.Sc (12th Class) or equivalent. For Artist – Diploma in Drawing & Painting; for LDC – Typewriting Lower Grade / typing speed 35 w.p.m (English) or 30 w.p.m (Regional Language).
• CGL Posts (Graduate Level):
  • Statistical Inspector: Postgraduate Degree in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics.
  • Library & Information Assistant: Graduation + Degree in Library Science.
  • Agriculture Officer: Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Engineering.
  • Technical Officer: Diploma + 2 years experience in relevant field (Desirable: Degree).
  • Upper Division Clerk & Field Supervisor: Graduate Degree in relevant field.

The posts offered under this recruitment have attractive government pay scales as per Puducherry Pay Matrix:

Nativity / Residence

• Candidates must be natives or residents of Puducherry for at least 5 years preceding the notification.
• Required Nativity/Residence Certificate must be submitted at certificate verification.

Certificates Required

• Community Certificates: SC/ST/MBC/OBC/EBC/BCM/BT.
• EWS Certificate: Issued for FY 2024–25, valid for 2025–26.
• PwBD Candidates: Medical Certificate from District Medical Board, Government of Puducherry.
• Ex-Servicemen: Discharge Certificate & registration with Department of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry.

Examination Pattern

• Mode: Written Competitive Examination.
• Question Type: Objective, 100 questions of SSLC / H.Sc / Graduate standard (depending on level).
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
• Language: Bilingual – English + Tamil / Telugu / Malayalam.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • UR – 30%
  • OBC/MBC/EWS – 25%
  • SC/PwBD/XSM – 20%
• Weightage / Answer Key Challenge:
  Candidates can challenge published answer keys online. Final revised key will be used for evaluation.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination: Common for all posts at respective levels.
2. Shortlisting: 3 times the number of vacancies based on merit.
3. Certificate Verification: Verification of original documents.
4. Final Selection: Based on merit and post preference.
5. Waitlist: Valid for 1 year to fill vacancies caused by non-joining, resignation, or rejection.

4. Login to apply for each post separately.
