Application Fee

The application fee must be paid online by December 5, 2025. The fee structure is as follows:

  • For Unreserved Category (excluding PwD): Rs. 500/-
  • For EWS, SEBC, ST, SC Categories (excluding PwD): Rs. 250/-
  • For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD): No Fee

Eligibility Criteria (Post-wise)

  1. Sanitation Superintendent
  • Educational Qualification & Experience: The candidate must have passed the Veterinary Inspector examination and possess five years of experience in work related to Public Health. Alternatively, must have experience as a Public Health Supervisor for five years. Must possess knowledge of the administrative workings of the Conservancy Department.
  • Age Limit (as on 03/12/2025): Minimum: 18 Years, Maximum: 45 Years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories and existing AMC employees as per rules.
  1. Chief Public Health Supervisor
  • Educational Qualification & Experience: The candidate must have passed the Veterinary Inspector examination and possess two years of experience in Public Health work. Alternatively, must have five years of experience in the role of a Veterinary Inspector.
  • Age Limit (as on 03/12/2025): Minimum: 18 Years, Maximum: 43 Years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories and existing AMC employees as per rules.
  1. Chief Veterinary Inspector
  • Educational Qualification & Experience: The candidate must have passed the Veterinary Inspector Diploma examination and possess five years of experience in Public Health work.
  • Age Limit (as on 03/12/2025): Minimum: 18 Years, Maximum: 38 Years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories and existing AMC employees as per rules.
  1. Assistant Estate Officer / Assistant T.D.O.
  • Educational Qualification & Experience: Must hold a B.E. (Civil) degree OR a Diploma in any branch from a recognized institution with a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Age Limit (as on 03/12/2025): Minimum: 18 Years, Maximum: 45 Years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories and existing AMC employees as per rules.
  1. Inspector
  • Educational Qualification: Must hold a B.E. (Civil) degree.
  • Age Limit (as on 03/12/2025): Minimum: 18 Years, Maximum: 45 Years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories and existing AMC employees as per rules.
  1. Chief Sub Inspector
  • Educational Qualification: Must hold a D.C.E. (Diploma in Civil Engineering) or B.E. (Civil) or a higher qualification.

Salary Scale (Pay Matrix)

Selected candidates will be appointed as a “Fixed Pay Supervisor on Probation” for the first three years, as per state government rules, after which they will be regularized.

  • Sanitation Superintendent: Level-8, Pay Scale of Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400
  • Chief Public Health Supervisor: First 3 Years (Fixed Pay): Rs. 49,600/- p.m. (Fixed). After Probation: Level-7, Pay Scale of Rs. 39,900 – 1,26,600
  • Chief Veterinary Inspector: First 3 Years (Fixed Pay): Rs. 40,800/- p.m. (Fixed). After Probation: Level-5, Pay Scale of Rs. 29,200 – 92,300
  • Assistant Estate Officer / Assistant T.D.O.: Level-9, Pay Scale of Rs. 53,100 – 1,67,800
  • Inspector: Level-8, Pay Scale of Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400
  • Chief Sub Inspector: First 3 Years (Fixed Pay): Rs. 49,600/- p.m. (Fixed). After Probation: Level-7, Pay Scale of Rs. 39,900 – 1,26,600

In addition to the basic pay, other usual allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, etc., as admissible under the rules, will be paid.

How to Apply

Important Instructions and General Conditions

  • Single Application: A candidate can submit only one application for one cadre. If multiple applications are submitted for the same cadre, only the last confirmed application will be considered valid.
  • Document Verification: The information filled in the online application will be considered final. During document verification, if any discrepancy is found between the online data and the original documents, the candidate’s application will be rejected.
  • Photograph: The same photograph uploaded in the online application must be produced at the time of the written test/interview.
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST/SEBC/EWS Candidates: 5 years, Women Candidates: 5 years, PwD Candidates: 10 years.
  • Caste/Category Certificate: Candidates applying under reserved categories (SC, ST, SEBC, EWS) must possess a valid certificate issued by the competent authority of the Gujarat Government. The certificate number and date must be entered in the online application, and a scanned copy must be uploaded.
  • PwD Certificate: Candidates with benchmark disabilities (40% and above) must upload a valid disability certificate issued by the competent medical authority, specifying the type and percentage of disability.
  • Experience Certificate: Only experience gained after obtaining the required educational qualification will be considered. Experience certificates must be from the employer, clearly stating the period, nature of duties, and must be on the organization’s letterhead.
  • No Correspondence: No postal correspondence will be made with the candidates. All further updates regarding the recruitment process (written test, interview, etc.) will be communicated through the official website and the registered mobile number/email.
  • Selection Process: The selection committee reserves the right to shortlist candidates for the further selection process (which may include a written test and/or interview) based on the number of applications received. The decision of the Municipal Commissioner / Staff Selection Committee will be final.
