Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Medical Candidates:
- MBBS or equivalent degree included in Schedule I/II or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DM/M.Ch or equivalent) in the relevant specialty.
- Non-Medical Candidates (where applicable):
- Master’s degree in the concerned subject with a Ph.D. from a recognized university.
Experience
- Three years of teaching/research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree for most departments.
- For certain super-specialties (e.g., DM/M.Ch courses of 3 or 6 years), experience may be exempted.
