Eligibility Criteria
For Medical Candidates
- MD / MS / DNB in the relevant discipline
OR - DM / MCh / DNB Super Specialty where applicable
Special Considerations:
- MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, General Medicine, Pediatrics are eligible for Trauma & Emergency Medicine.
- MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine / Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion is required for Transfusion Medicine.
- MD in Hospital Administration, Master’s in Hospital Administration (full-time after MBBS), or DNB in Hospital Administration is valid for Hospital Administration posts.
For Non-Medical Candidates (Senior Demonstrator)
Applicable for: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry & Biostatistics
- M.Sc. / M.Biotech / M.Stat in the concerned subject
- Ph.D. in the concerned or allied subject
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 years

Salary Scale
- Pay Band: ₹15,600 – ₹39,100
- Grade Pay: ₹6,600 (as per 6th CPC)
- Level 11 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix
- NPA applicable for medical candidates
- Other allowances as per Central Government rules
