Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Maximum 45 years for all candidates as on 14th October 2025
- Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC – 3 years; PWD – up to 5-10 years depending on category
Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/MDS/MCh/DM as applicable) in the respective discipline from a recognized university
- Mandatory Registration with NMC/MCI/DCI or relevant State Medical Council before joining
Special Eligibility for Super-Specialty Departments:
- Burns & Plastic Surgery – MS in General Surgery/ENT/Orthopaedics
- Cardiology – MD in General Medicine/Paediatrics
- Cardiothoracic Surgery – MS in General Surgery
- Medical Gastroenterology – MD in General Medicine
- Neurosurgery – MS in General Surgery
- Pulmonary Medicine – MD in General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine
- Urology – MS in General Surgery
- Trauma & Emergency – MD/MS as mentioned above
Other Conditions:
- Candidates must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency previously
- Government employees must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC)
Pay Scale
- Level 11, Cell No. 1 of 7th CPC
- Salary: ₹67,700/- per month plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable)
Selection Process
- Selection is based on interview at AIIMS Nagpur
- Shortlisting may occur if a large number of candidates apply, based on qualifications, experience, or written test
- Candidates must bring all original certificates along with self-attested photocopies at the time of interview
- Only candidates completing their postgraduate degree by the closing date are eligible
