If multiple sub-specialties or locations exist under the same post code (for example, Anesthesiology in Main Department and Onco-Anesthesiology in NCI Jhajjar), candidates must indicate their order of preference while filling out the online form.
Failure to indicate a preference will result in exclusion from those sub-specialties.

Applicants must upload clear scanned copies of the following:

  • Proof of educational qualifications (degrees, certificates)
  • Proof of teaching and research experience
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • No Objection Certificate from current employer (if employed)

Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The application fee is applicable even if an EWS candidate later competes under the Unreserved category due to non-availability of EWS seats.

Selection Procedure

The selection process will consist of two stages:

Stage 1 – Screening of Applications

  • All applications fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria will be screened for completeness, correctness, and fulfillment of essential qualifications and experience.
  • Applications that meet the requirements will move to Stage 2.

Stage 2 – Shortlisting Based on Objective Criteria

  • AIIMS will apply objective evaluation parameters to assess academic achievements, teaching/research experience, publications, honors, and professional contributions.
  • Only the top 10 candidates per post (or multiples of ten depending on vacancies) will be shortlisted for interview based on their total score.
  • In case of a tie in scores, all candidates with the same score will be shortlisted, even if this exceeds the limit.

Interview

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview conducted by the Standing Selection Committee.
  • The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in the interview.
  • The schedule and venue of interviews will be announced on the AIIMS website, and candidates will also be notified via email and SMS.
  • No separate physical letters will be issued.
