Eligibility Criteria
For Medical Candidates
Educational Qualification:
- A medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- A postgraduate degree (MD/MS) or equivalent qualification in the respective discipline.
- For super-specialty subjects: M.Ch. (Surgical Super Specialties) or D.M. (Medical Super Specialties) in the relevant field.
Experience Requirements:
- Professor: 14 years (Medical) / 14 years post-Ph.D. (Non-Medical)
- Additional Professor: 10 years (Medical) / 10 years post-Ph.D. (Non-Medical)
- Associate Professor: 6 years (Medical) / 6 years post-Ph.D. (Non-Medical)
- Assistant Professor: 3 years (Medical) / 3 years post-Ph.D. (Non-Medical)
Note: Experience from Dental/Nursing/Physiotherapy colleges will not be considered.

Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted and interviewed by a Standing Selection Committee.
- A written test may be conducted if the number of applicants in a department exceeds 30.
