Pay & Allowances
The remuneration for the posts is attractive considering it is a contract position under NHM:
Medical Officers: ₹61,960 per month
Specialist Doctors (General Physician, Gynecologist, Pediatrician): ₹1,10,000 – ₹1,40,000 per month depending on the programme and area (Urban/Rural/Tribal)
Selection Procedure
The selection of candidates will be merit-based and will follow the rules of reservation as per government norms. The process includes:
- Merit List Preparation:
- Merit lists will be prepared for candidates who have applied online and fulfilled all eligibility conditions.
- The selection will follow merit and roster points as per the reservation rules of AP State and Subordinate Services.
- Total Marks & Weightage:
- Total Marks: 100
- PG Degree holders: 75% of marks obtained in their qualification
- Diploma holders: 65% of marks obtained in their qualification
- In absence of marks memo, 50% marks will be considered.
- Grade to Marks Conversion:
- Grade A (Distinction): 75–85% (Mean 80%)
- Grade B+ (Above Average): 65–74% (Mean 70%)
- Grade B (Pass): 50–64% (Mean 57%)
- Weightage for Waiting Period:
- Maximum of 10 marks @ 1 mark per completed year from the date of passing the qualifying examination to the date of notification.
- Weightage for Contract / Outsourced / COVID-19 Service:
- Up to 15 marks for service rendered on contract or outsourcing, including COVID-19 service.
- Less than 6 months of COVID-19 service: 0.83 marks per completed month.
- Weightage applies for service in the relevant specialty and also for COVID-19 work irrespective of specialty, as per government orders.
