The Selection Process: A Transparent, Merit-Based Journey

There is no interview. Your destiny will be carved out of a 100-point merit-based system, ensuring absolute transparency and fairness.

Here’s how your final score is compiled:

  • Academic Excellence (75 Points): The bulk of your score comes from the percentage of marks obtained in your qualifying examination (e.g., BAMS, MBA, MD). This rewards your dedication to scholarly pursuit.
  • Professional Tenure (10 Points): Your hands-on experience is valued. You will be awarded points for every completed year of service after your internship, up to a maximum of 10 points.
  • Dedicated Service Weightage (15 Points): This is a tribute to your service in challenging environments. Points are awarded for previous contract service in Government setups:
    • COVID-19 Warrior Duty: 5.0 marks per six months. (The highest reward for your frontline service).
    • Service in Tribal Areas: 2.5 marks per six months.
    • Service in Rural Areas: 2.0 marks per six months.
    • Service in Urban Areas: 1.0 marks per six months.
    • Crucial Note for Service Weightage: You MUST upload a Service Certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) along with your original appointment order and, for COVID-19 claims, supporting bank statements. Service of less than six months does not count.
