Bank of Baroda (BOB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has officially announced the engagement of 2700 apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment notification (Ref: BOB/HRM/APPRENTICE/ADVT/2025/02) invites online applications from Indian citizens to undergo one year of on-the-job training across various states and union territories.

Training Duration and Stipend

  • Duration: 12 months of full-time, on-the-job training.
  • Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000/-
  • No additional allowances or benefits will be provided. Stipend will be paid monthly after adjusting for any loss of pay.

Reservation and Relaxation

  • Reservation will be provided for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms.
  • Candidates must submit valid certificates in the prescribed format during document verification.
  • PwBD reservation is horizontal and applicable across all categories within each state.

Selection Process

The selection for apprenticeship training will be conducted in three stages:

  2. Document Verification
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test

Candidates shortlisted in the online exam will be called for document verification followed by a local language test, depending on the state applied for.

How to Apply

  3. Apply through BFSI SSC Link:
    • After registration on NATS/NAPS, candidates must apply for “Bank of Baroda Apprenticeship Program” via the BFSI SSC website.
  4. Fee Payment:
    • Complete the application process by paying the applicable fees online.
  5. Print Application:
    • Keep a copy of the submitted application and acknowledgment number for reference.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates can apply only for one State/UT.
  • Up to three preferred training centers can be chosen within the selected State/UT.
  • Allotment of centers will depend on merit, preferences, and availability.
  • The Bank reserves the right to allot candidates to any available center within the applied State/UT.
