BEML Limited, a premier Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a major recruitment drive in 2025 for the position of Junior Executives (JE) on a Fixed Tenure Contract Basis. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: 29 years (as on 26th September 2025)
- Age Relaxations:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates
- 10 years for PwD candidates (in addition to category relaxation)
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications from a recognized university/institute with minimum 60% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates):
- JE – Mechanical (88 Posts):
Full-time first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering. - JE – Electrical (18 Posts):
Full-time first-class degree in Electrical Engineering. Electronics engineers can also apply under this category. - JE – Metallurgy (2 Posts):
Full-time first-class degree in Metallurgy Engineering. - JE – IT (1 Post):
- Full-time first-class degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, OR
- First-class MCA.
- JE – Finance (8 Posts):
- CA-Inter / CMA-Inter, OR
- Two-year full-time MBA (Finance) with Finance as a core subject.
- JE – Rajbhasha (2 Posts):
- Two-year full-time first-class MA in Hindi with English as a compulsory subject at graduation, OR
- Two-year full-time first-class MA in English with Hindi as a compulsory subject at graduation.
- Proficiency in Hindi typing and computer skills is mandatory.
Experience Requirement
- Freshers are eligible to apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in the relevant field will be given preference.
Salary Structure
The selected candidates will be placed on a Fixed Term Contract Basis for 4 years with annual pay hikes.
- 1st Year: ₹35,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹37,500 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹40,000 per month
- 4th Year: ₹43,000 per month
Additional Benefits:
- Annual lump sum of ₹11,000 towards uniform stitching, conveyance, medical insurance, and term plan.
- Posting may be anywhere across India, based on company requirements.

Selection Process
The recruitment will be carried out through a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by specific assessments for certain categories.
- Written Test:
- Duration: 2 hours
- Sections: Domain knowledge + Reasoning + English ability
- Passing Marks: 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD)
- Additional Typing/Translation Test (For Rajbhasha):
- 2-hour exam including Hindi-English translation, vocabulary, and reasoning.
- 10-minute Hindi typing test mandatory.
- Merit List:
- Prepared on the basis of written test performance.
- Final selection subject to document verification.
Tenure of Engagement
- The contract will initially be for 1 year, extendable up to 4 years based on performance, conduct, and organizational needs.
- Employment will automatically terminate after completion of contract period.
- Posting locations are transferable during the tenure.
