Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Miniratna Category-I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence (MoD), Government of India, has announced its Apprenticeship Training Program 2025 for ITI-qualified candidates. Established in 1970, BDL is a pioneer in the production of Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) and other strategic defense systems. Today, BDL manufactures next-generation missile systems, launchers, underwater weapons, decoys, test equipment, and various sophisticated defense technologies vital for the security of the nation. The company serves all three wings of the Indian Armed Forces: Army, Navy, and Air Force.
The Apprenticeship program provides a golden opportunity for young technical candidates to gain hands-on experience in a world-class defense manufacturing environment at BDL’s Kanchanbagh Unit, Hyderabad.
Important Dates
Candidates applying for the apprenticeship program must adhere to the following schedule:

Note: Applications submitted after the deadlines will not be considered. Candidates are advised to complete online registration and send hard copies well before the last date.
Fee
There is no application fee for applying to the BDL Apprenticeship Training Program 2025. Candidates can register and apply without any cost.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates are required to have passed the 10th standard/SSC from a recognized board of education.
- Candidates must also have an ITI certificate in the respective trade.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 14 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years as on 08 December 2025

Pay Scale / Stipend
The selected candidates for the BDL Apprenticeship Training Program 2025 will be paid a stipend during the training period. The stipend is fixed as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The details are as follows:

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be merit-based, considering marks obtained in 10th/SSC and ITI examinations.
- A trade-wise merit list will be prepared.
- Marks of 10th/SSC and ITI will be given equal weightage for calculating merit.
- Only candidates who pass the prescribed medical examination will be inducted for training.
Medical Standards: Candidates must be physically and medically fit as per the prescribed norms.
Training & Stipend
- The training program will be conducted as per the syllabus and standards of the Central Apprenticeship Council.
- The duration of training for all trades is one year.
- Selected apprentices will receive a stipend as per the rates prescribed under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the selection process or joining the training.
Application Process
The application process involves online registration followed by submission of a hard copy of documents.
Step 1: Online Registration
- Visit the Apprenticeship India Portal: apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/candidate-registration
- Watch instructional videos on the portal for guidance.
- Complete the registration process by selecting Bharat Dynamics Limited, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad in the “Establishment Search” section (Reg. No: E05203600393).
- Fill in details exactly as per your Aadhar Card, including Name, Date of Birth, and Aadhar Number.
- Upload scanned color copies of:
- 10th/SSC Certificate and Marks List
- ITI Certificate and Marks List
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Recent passport-size photograph
Applications with missing documents or unclear scans will not be considered.
Step 2: Hard Copy Submission
After online registration, candidates must send the hard copy of their application along with all documents to:

- Hard copies must reach BDL on or before 12 December 2025.
- Applications received after the last date will be rejected.
- Candidates who fail to register online will not be considered for training.
Wards of BDL employees must submit their applications by hand after online registration.
Terms & Conditions
- Candidates must produce original certificates for verification as and when required.
- Reservation: Seats for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/CAP/EBS will be provided as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961.
- Ineligibility: Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible to apply under this notification.
