Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Company under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced a major recruitment drive for young and talented Engineering Graduates. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4-year course) with Pass Class in relevant disciplines from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions or recognized universities.

Important Note:
- Candidates must provide their final/provisional degree certificate as proof of completion.

Age Limit (as on 1st September 2025)
- General & EWS Candidates: Maximum 28 years
- OBC (NCL): Relaxation of 3 years
- SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
- PwBD Candidates: Additional 10 years over and above category relaxation (minimum 40% disability required).
Proof of Date of Birth will be considered from SSLC/SSC/ISC mark sheet or equivalent valid documents.
Salary and Allowances
Consolidated Monthly Pay
- 1st Year: ₹30,000/- per month
- 2nd Year: ₹35,000/- per month
- 3rd Year (if extended): ₹40,000/- per month
Additional Benefits
- A consolidated allowance of ₹12,000/- per year will be provided towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear, etc. This will be paid in two equal installments:
- First installment with the salary of the joining month
- Second installment after 6 months from the date of joining
Area Allowance
- Candidates posted outside Bengaluru, in areas where BEL does not have Units/Regional Offices/Support Centers, will be entitled to an additional 10% of consolidated remuneration as Area Allowance.
Career Growth – Advancement to Project Engineer
Trainee Engineers who complete 2 years within BEL may be considered for advancement to Project Engineer-I/Officer-I subject to performance:
- Minimum 80% performance assessment scores during both years.
- Attendance greater than 80% and good general discipline.
- No adverse remarks during tenure as Trainee Engineer.
Engagement as Project Engineer: 3 years (extendable up to 1 year).
Retention Bonus
- Project Engineers (who advanced from Trainee Engineers) completing 4 years in total will receive a Retention Bonus of ₹25,000/- per completed year, payable at the end of 4 years (₹1,00,000/-).
Roles and Responsibilities

- Field posting for project execution and product support.
- AMC activities at customer locations.
- Support roles in design & engineering (field trials, evaluation, validation, documentation).
- Roles in testing, assembly, quality management, sub-contracting, production planning, material management, marketing, and maintenance.
Job Code: TEEM (EVM/VVPAT – Across India)
- First level checking of EVMs/VVPATs.
- Participation in election-related activities including counting duty.
- Production, testing, and repair of EVMs and VVPATs.
- Working with Windows/Linux systems and data backup/restoration.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Sheets.
- Daily work progress monitoring, EMS scanning, and coordination with teams/customers.
- Willingness to travel across India and work in rotational shifts.
Selection Process
- Written Test – Candidates meeting eligibility criteria and who have registered online will be called for a written test at Bengaluru.
- Exam Pattern:
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Number of Questions: 85
- Sections: Technical and General Aptitude
- Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer, -0.25 for each wrong answer (negative marking).
- PwBD Candidates: Eligible for extra 20 minutes per hour as compensatory time.
- Result: Results will be published on the BEL website. Shortlisted candidates based on merit will be called for Document Verification.
- Important: Written test will only be conducted in Bengaluru.

How to Apply
- Candidates must pre-register online to express willingness to attend the Walk-In Selection.
- The online registration portal will remain open from 24th September 2025 to 7th October 2025.
- Candidates who do not register online will not be permitted to appear for the written test.
- Only one application is allowed per post. Multiple applications will result in cancellation and forfeiture of fees.
- Candidates must ensure all details are filled correctly before submission, as no modifications will be permitted later.
- Lateral applications are not permitted. Trainee Engineers currently working in any BEL unit are not eligible to apply.
Key Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates must bring the printed call letter downloaded from the BEL website to appear in the written test. Call letters will not be sent via email or post.
- Certificates for reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) must be in the prescribed format available on the BEL website.
- OBC (NCL) certificate should be issued on or after 1st September 2024.
- EWS certificate should be issued on or after 1st April 2025 for FY 2024-25.
- All educational qualifications should be from AICTE/UGC-approved colleges/universities.
- Candidates must carry all original documents for verification at the time of document verification.
