B. Educational Qualifications & Marks
For Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT):
- Qualification: A 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline (Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum Marks:
- General/OBC(NCL)/EWS: 60% aggregate
- SC/ST/PwBD: 50% aggregate
For Technician ‘C’:
- Qualification: SSLC (10th pass) + ITI in the relevant trade AND One Year Apprenticeship OR SSLC + 3 Years National Apprenticeship Certificate Course in the relevant trade.
- Minimum Marks:
- General/OBC(NCL)/EWS: 60% aggregate
- SC/ST/PwBD: 50% aggregate
C. Mandatory Requirement
- Registration with the Telangana State Employment Exchange is compulsory for all applicants. The registration must be valid and active as of October 29, 2025.
Pay Scale and Remuneration: A Rewarding Package
1. Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT):
- Training Period: 6 months with a consolidated stipend of Rs. 24,000 per month.
- After Training: Upon successful completion and passing the gradation test, candidates will be placed in the regular pay scale of Rs. 24,500 – Rs. 90,000 (Grade WG-VII).
2. Technician ‘C’:
- Selected candidates will be directly inducted into the pay scale of Rs. 21,500 – Rs. 82,000 (Grade WG-IV).

Selection Process
The selection will be a transparent, multi-stage process:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): Eligible candidates will be called for an online test of 150 marks.
- Part I: General Aptitude (50 Marks): Tests logical reasoning, analytical ability, comprehension, numeracy, and general knowledge.
- Part II: Technical Aptitude (100 Marks): Subject-specific questions from the candidate’s engineering discipline or trade.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- General/OBC(NCL)/EWS: 35% in each part.

- Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on their CBT performance will be called to produce their original certificates and documents for verification.
Tie-Breaker Rule: In case of tied scores, the candidate with higher marks in the Technical section, then General Awareness, then higher qualification percentage will be preferred.
