Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria vary by position. The main requirements are:
Medical Officers (GDMO):
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
- Age limit: up to 67 years (as on 1st January 2025).
- Selection based on 100% merit in final MBBS examination.
Multi Rehabilitation Worker (NPHCE):
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with at least 2 years of hospital experience.
- Desirable: Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Age limit: 21–40 years (relaxation as per government norms).
Laboratory Technician (NUHM):
- Higher Secondary (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics.
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology recognized by WB State Medical Faculty/AICTE.
- Knowledge of computer and MS Office.
- Age limit: up to 40 years (relaxation for reserved categories).
Staff Nurse (UHWC/Polyclinic, 15th FC):
- Completed GNM training from a recognized institute.
- Registered under West Bengal Nursing Council.
- Age limit: 21–40 years (relaxation applicable).
Community Health Assistant (NUHM/UHWC, XVFC):
- Passed ANM or GNM course from recognized institutes and registered with West Bengal Nursing Council.
- Proficiency in Bengali.
- Permanent resident of the applied district.

Block Epidemiologist:
- M.Sc in Life Science/Epidemiology or BAMS/BHMS/BUMS with MPH.
- Desirable: Ph.D./M.Phil.

Block Public Health Manager:
- B.Sc in Life Science with postgraduate degree/diploma in Management.

- Medical Officers (GDMO): ₹60,000 per month (consolidated)
- Multi Rehabilitation Worker (NPHCE): ₹18,000 per month (consolidated)

Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on academic merit and essential qualifications.
