The Government of Andhra Pradesh, Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department, through the Office of the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO), Chittoor, has released Notification No: 01/NHM/2025-2026 for the recruitment of Medical, Nursing, Para-Medical, and Supporting Staff on a contract and outsourcing basis under the National Health Mission (NHM).

This recruitment drive aims to fill various vacancies across District Hospitals, Area Hospitals, CHCs, UPHCs, and other health units in Chittoor District for the year 2025–26. Interested and eligible local candidates from the erstwhile Chittoor district can apply offline between 09 October 2025 to 22 October 2025.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive monthly remuneration as per NHM norms and the post applied for. The pay is fixed and non-revisable during the contract period of one year, extendable based on performance and need.

Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

1. Medical Officer

  • Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized institution approved by MCI with valid registration in A.P. Medical Council.
  • Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in government hospitals or NHM programs.

2. Staff Nurse

  • Qualification: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from an institution recognized by the Nursing Council of India with valid registration in A.P. Nursing and Midwives Council.
  • Preference: Candidates experienced in Palliative Care will be preferred.

3. Finance cum Logistic Consultant

  • Qualification: Inter CA / Inter ICWA / M.Com / MBA (Finance Management).
  • Skills: Computer proficiency and typewriting in English and Telugu (Lower & Higher grades).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity with knowledge of accounting software.

4. Lab Technician Grade-II

  • Qualification:
    • One-year Lab Technician Course after Intermediate OR
    • Two-year Lab Technician Course after SSC OR
    • B.Sc. (Medical Lab Technology) OR
    • B.Sc. (BZC/Life Sciences) with PG Diploma in MLT (from NIMS/SVIMS) OR
    • Diploma in Transfusion Medical Technology / Clinical Biochemistry (recognized by UGC).
  • Registration: Must be registered with A.P. Para Medical Board.

5. Physiotherapist (Multi Rehabilitation Worker)

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university with registration at A.P. Para Medical Board or Rehabilitation Council of India.

6. Audiometrician

  • Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent with B.Sc (Audiology) or Diploma in Audiometric Technician from a recognized institution.
  • Registration: Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

7. Sanitary Attendant

  • Qualification: Must have passed SSC or its equivalent recognized by the Government of A.P.

8. Supporting Staff

  • Qualification: Must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination.

9. Security Guard

  • Qualification: Must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the Government of A.P.

10. Last Grade Services (UPHCs)

  • Qualification: SSC or equivalent examination recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based purely on merit.
No written examination or interview will be conducted.

Selection Stages:

  1. Scrutiny of applications and documents.
  2. Preparation of Provisional Merit List based on academic qualifications, technical credentials, and experience.
  3. Grievance Redressal Period for candidates to raise objections.
  4. Final Merit List publication.
  5. Issue of Appointment Orders to selected candidates.

Step 1: Download the Application Form

Step 2: Fill in the Application

Applications received after the due date will be rejected.
