Minimum Educational Qualifications
Students applying for the internship must meet the following educational criteria:
- For Engineering Students: Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 in all previous semesters.
- For Science Students: Must be pursuing a Postgraduate (M.Sc.) course with at least 70% marks in the first-year examination.
- The student must be enrolled in a full-time course from an AICTE/UGC-approved college or university.
Duration of Internship
- The internship will last for six (06) months.
- Students are expected to complete the full duration of the internship to be eligible for the Completion Certificate.
- Certificates will be issued only after successful completion of the internship and submission of the project report.
Age Limit
- The applicant must be below 25 years of age as of the closing date of application submission (10th November 2025).
Selection Procedure
The selection process for the DRDO CASDIC Paid Internship 2025 will be conducted on a merit basis, ensuring transparency and fairness. The following steps will be followed:
- Shortlisting of Applications:
All received applications will be screened based on marks obtained in previous semesters or years. - Online Interview / Interaction:
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an online interaction or interview to assess their aptitude, academic knowledge, and research interest. - Final Selection:
Candidates will be selected purely on merit. Only selected candidates will receive an email notification regarding further procedures. - Intimation:
The list of selected students will be announced through email or DRDO’s official website on 20th November 2025. - Rejection Clause:
- Incomplete or erroneous applications will be rejected.
- Applications received after the due date will not be considered.
- No further communication will be entertained for rejected applications.
Documents Required for Application
Students must submit scanned copies of the following documents while applying through email:
- Duly filled Application Form in the prescribed format.
- Reference/Request Letter from the college (on official letterhead) recommending the student for a paid internship.
- Self-attested mark sheet of the last semester or year.
- Self-attested copy of Aadhaar card.
- Brief biodata (maximum 300 words) highlighting academic achievements and technical skills.

How to Apply for DRDO CASDIC Internship 2025
Candidates must apply only through email as per the given instructions. Hard copies will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Steps to Apply:
- Download and fill the prescribed application form with accurate details.
- Prepare a Reference/Request letter from your college recommending you for the paid internship.
- Attach all required documents (application form, reference letter, mark sheet, Aadhaar card, biodata) in PDF format.

Documents Required at the Time of Joining
Selected students must present the following original documents at the time of joining for verification:
- Original mark sheets of all previous semesters.
- Original Reference/Request letter from college for the internship.
- Bonafide Certificate from the college.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) on college letterhead stating that the student will be available for at least 15 working days per month.
- Police Verification Certificate from the hometown or place of residence.
- Undertaking related to adherence to the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923.
- Undertaking agreeing to follow IT Rules and Regulations applicable under the Ministry of Defence.
- Bank Account Details for stipend transfer.
- Original Aadhaar Card and College ID for verification.
- Four passport-size photographs.
- Any other document requested during verification.
Stipend and Payment Terms
- A monthly stipend of ₹5,000 will be paid to the interns.
- The stipend is applicable only if the intern is present at the laboratory for a minimum of 15 working days per month.
- The stipend will be disbursed in two installments:
- First Installment: After completion of 3 months.
- Second Installment: After successful completion of 6 months.
- The stipend will be directly credited to the student’s bank account.
Boarding and Lodging
- Accommodation and food expenses are to be borne by the candidate.
- DRDO will not provide or reimburse boarding and lodging facilities.
- Selected interns must arrange their own accommodation in Bengaluru during the internship period.
Award of Certificate
A Certificate of Completion will be issued to students who:
- Successfully complete the six-month internship,
- Submit a project report,
- Pass the project evaluation, and
- Fulfill all formalities required by CASDIC.
Students who discontinue the internship midway or fail to meet performance standards will not receive any certificate or payment.
Rules and Conditions
- Interns must adhere strictly to all guidelines and discipline prescribed by CASDIC during the internship.
- Any indisciplinary conduct may result in immediate termination of the internship without stipend or certification.
- Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment at DRDO or CASDIC.
- DRDO/CASDIC reserves the right to alter, postpone, or cancel the selection process or modify the number of vacancies at any stage without assigning reasons.
