Important Notes About Vacancies
- The number of vacancies is provisional and may increase or decrease based on the requirements of the hospital for patient care.
- The competent authority reserves the right to amend, cancel, or modify this advertisement, in whole or part, without prior notice.
- Reservations will be applied as per Government of India guidelines, and in case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, meritorious candidates from other categories may be engaged temporarily for 39 days.
- Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) is mandatory. Candidates who have applied for registration must provide proof of submission at the time of the interview. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification or withholding of results.
- Candidates working in Government/Autonomous institutions should ideally provide an NOC from their employer; if not immediately available, a copy of the “applied for NOC” along with an undertaking may be submitted.
- Private practice is strictly prohibited for Senior Residents at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad.
- Candidates under PwD quota will be adjusted against the vacancies of their respective categories.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 years as on the date of walk-in interview
- The tenure of engagement is one year, extendable up to three years, subject to approval from ESIC Headquarters and satisfactory performance.
Educational Qualifications
- As per the latest NMC/MCI guidelines, candidates must possess:
- MBBS Degree
- MD/MS/DNB or other recognized postgraduate qualification relevant to the department
- ICU Departments can be manned by:
- Critical Care Specialists
- Anesthetists
- Medical Specialists
- Pulmonary Medicine Specialists
- Pediatric Specialists (for NICU/PICU only)
Pay and Allowances
Selected Senior Residents will be remunerated as per Level 11 of the 7th CPC:
- Fixed Basic Pay: Rs. 67,700/- (Level 11)
- Other Allowances: As per ESIC Headquarters Office Memorandum No. Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08.12.2022
- Pay and allowances are subject to revisions by ESIC Headquarters orders.
Terms and Conditions of Contract
- Tenure: 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance and institutional needs.
- Termination:
- Contract may end if a bonded Senior Resident joins the same post.
- The competent authority may terminate the contract at any time in public interest without prior notice.
- Resignation: Must be accompanied by one-month advance notice or deposit of one month’s salary. Non-compliance may lead to forfeiture of salary/security deposit and legal proceedings.
- Service Benefits: Senior Residents are not entitled to PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion, or similar benefits.
- Accommodation: Hostel/quarters will be provided if available. HRA will not be paid if accommodation is availed; license fee or other sums will be deducted.
- Attendance: Daily attendance is mandatory via Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS). Absence for more than 7 days without prior approval will be considered voluntary abandonment.
- Other terms as issued by competent authorities from time to time are applicable.
Security Deposit
- Senior Resident: Rs. 20,000/- via Demand Draft payable to “ESI Fund A/c No. 1” at Faridabad.
- Refundable upon successful completion of the contract and submission of a No Dues Certificate.
- Resignation within 6 months will result in forfeiture, except under unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.
