Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MD/MS/DNB or equivalent in relevant medical specialty.
- M.Sc with Ph.D. in Anatomy, Biochemistry, or Physiology (for basic medical sciences).
- Super-specialties:
- Cardiology: DM/DNB/DrNB
- Medical Oncology: DM/DNB/DrNB
- Nephrology: DM/DNB/DrNB
Age Limit
- Broad Specialties: Maximum 45 years
- Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology: Maximum 50 years
Other Conditions
- Candidates should not have completed three years as Senior Resident in any government institution.
- Reserved category candidates must have valid certificate for central government appointments.
Emoluments
- Basic Pay: ₹67,700/- (Level 11, 7th CPC, Index-1)
- Allowances: As per government rules
- Security Deposit: ₹30,000/- (refundable after contract completion)
Note: The deposit will be forfeited if the candidate terminates the contract within six months.
Terms and Conditions
- Contractual appointment, initially for one year, extendable up to three years.
- Either party can terminate the contract with one month notice.
- Continuation depends on satisfactory performance appraisal.
- Absence beyond 15 days without permission is considered abandonment of duty.
- No private practice allowed.
- Candidates must enter a contractual agreement on a Rs. 100 stamp paper.
- Selected candidates cannot claim regularization in ESIC hospitals.
- Medical fitness is mandatory.
- Senior Residents must wear a white coat with name badge during duty hours.

Selection Procedure
