Essential Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have:
- Passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC/12th) Examination in the Science Stream from a recognized Board.
- Possess basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed by the Gujarat Government.
- Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Salary Scale and Pay
The pay scale for the Laboratory Assistant, Class-3 post is attractive and follows the Gujarat Government’s pay matrix.
- Initial Pay (First 5 Years): Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed salary of Rs. 26,000/- per month for the first five years, along with other allowances as per government rules.
- After 5 Years: Upon satisfactory completion of five years of service, the candidate will be placed in the Level-2 pay scale of Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200 as per the 7th Pay Commission.
Selection Process
The selection will be based solely on the performance in a Single Competitive Written Examination.

For Women Candidates (Widow):
