Gujarat Tablet Assistance Scheme 2025 – Free Tablet for 12th Standard Scheduled Caste Students at ₹1,000 Token Fee

The Government of Gujarat, through the Directorate of Scheduled Caste Welfare, has launched the Tablet Assistance to Scheduled Caste Students of 12th Standard Scheme to ensure digital access for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category. The scheme provides affordable tablets to Class 12 SC students so they can continue their education with modern digital resources. It aims to reduce the digital divide and help students adopt technology for learning and career development.

Scholarship Amount

• Benefit: One tablet per student.
• Token Contribution: ₹1,000 payable by the student.
• Cost Covered by Government: Full cost of the tablet (excluding the token amount).

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste of Gujarat.
2. The applicant must be studying in Class 12 in a recognized school within Gujarat.
3. The student must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
4. There is no family income limit for this scheme.
5. Only one application per student will be accepted.

Reservation Policy

This scheme is exclusively for Scheduled Caste students of Gujarat. The entire benefit is reserved for SC students to ensure educational equality and digital empowerment.

Distribution of Scholarships

1. Applications are verified by school authorities and the Directorate of Scheduled Caste Welfare.
2. Eligible students are approved after successful document verification.
3. Tablets are distributed through the respective schools or designated centers.
4. Students pay the token amount of ₹1,000 at the time of receiving the tablet.

Step 1: Visit the Digital Gujarat Portal.
Step 2: Click on “Register” and fill in your mobile number, email, and password.
Step 3: After registration, log in using your credentials.
Step 4: Go to “My Profile” and update all required details.
Step 5: Under “Services,” select “Scholarship Services” and then choose “SC Scheme.”
Step 6: Select the financial year and click on “Change Financial Year.”
Step 7: Choose the Tablet Assistance Scheme and click “Continue to Service.”
Step 8: Fill out the application form completely and upload the required documents.
Step 9: Save the draft, review all details, and click “Confirm & Final Submit.”
Step 10: Contact your school principal if any assistance is required for verification or submission.
