The High Court of Kerala is seeking skilled professionals to manage technical and administrative tasks within its premises and related judicial projects. The recruitment focuses on individuals with expertise in ICT, data entry, word processing, hardware/software support, and e-courts operations.
Candidates selected for these posts will be employed on a contractual basis, initially up to 31 March 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance and government approval.

These posts are contractual, and selected candidates may be assigned duties temporarily outside the High Court, including Kerala Judicial Academy or other judicial projects.
Age Limit
- Eligible candidates must be born between 2 January 1989 and 1 January 2007 (both dates inclusive).
- This sets the eligible age range roughly between 18 and 36 years.
Educational Qualification and Experience
a) Technical Assistant
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or Computer Hardware Engineering, or higher qualification approved by the Government of Kerala.
- All qualifications should be in first class or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 1-year experience in government departments, courts, or PSUs providing technical support, including hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, and on-site tech support.
Desirable:
- At least 6 months of experience in e-court projects or similar judicial digital initiatives.
Note: Candidates with equivalent or higher qualifications must provide government orders validating eligibility. All qualifications must be completed before the last date of application.
b) Data Entry Operator
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time 3-year Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, or Computer Hardware, OR
- Any degree with a certificate in word processing/data entry from a recognized institution.
- All qualifications should be first class or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 1-year experience in government departments, courts, or PSUs in word processing, data entry, managing ICT equipment, or operating e-Sewa Kendra.
Desirable:
- Minimum 6 months experience in courts for e-courts projects, ICT equipment management, or data entry operations.
Remuneration / Pay Scale
- Technical Assistant: ₹30,000/- per month
- Data Entry Operator: ₹22,240/- per month
These amounts are fixed for the contract period and may be revised in future based on government approval.
Tenure of Appointment
- Initial contract period is up to 31 March 2026.
- Extension depends on:
- Government sanction for continuing posts.
- Performance of the candidate during the initial contract period.
Selection Process
The recruitment process includes:
- Skill Test and/or Interview – The primary assessment method.
- Written Test (if applicable) – Conducted if the number of applicants is high to shortlist candidates for the skill test or interview.
- Ranked List – Prepared based on performance in skill tests and/or interviews.
- Valid for 1 year or until a new ranked list is published, or 2 years, whichever is earlier.

Facilities for Differently Abled Candidates
- Eligible candidates can use a scribe if their writing speed is affected.
- Compensatory time: 20 minutes per hour of the examination.
- Required documents include a medical certificate as per guidelines on the recruitment portal.
- The scribe’s qualification must be at least one step below the minimum qualification of the post.
Application Procedure
Step 1: One-Time Registration
