The High Court of Kerala has released a notification inviting applications from retired officers and staff of the High Court of Kerala and District Judiciary (including temporary courts) for temporary engagement in the Digitisation Project of the District Judiciary. This recruitment is on a daily wage basis and aims to assist in the scanning, data entry, and verification of court records across various districts of Kerala.

Eligible candidates can apply online only through the High Court’s recruitment portal No other mode of application will be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  1. SSLC or equivalent.
  2. Ability to 10th pass read and write in Malayalam and English.
  3. Minimum 5 years of clerical experience in the Judicial sector (High Court/District Judiciary, including temporary courts).
  4. Working knowledge of computers.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in digitisation of court records.

Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 65 years as on the date of notification. No engagement will be offered to candidates above this age.

Nature of Engagement

  • Selected candidates will be included in a District-wise Resource Pool.
  • Engagement will be on a daily wage basis, assigned as per district requirements.
  • Inclusion in the Resource Pool does not guarantee engagement; candidates must be available when required.
  • Tasks include weeding of judicial records, data entry, and verification of scanned pages/images.
  • Accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks are mandatory.

Selection Process

  • Selection will be primarily through interview.
  • If applications exceed requirements, the High Court reserves the right to shortlist candidates using reasonable criteria.
  • Interviews will be conducted at the Principal District Court of the respective district or other designated venues.
  • Original documents, including pension proof and identity card, must be presented during the interview.

Application Procedure

  1. One-Time Registration:
    • Candidates must first complete One-Time Registration via.
    • Scanned photograph and signature must meet guidelines: face and shoulders clearly visible, background light-colored.
  2. Apply for District:
    • After registration, click Apply Now on the dashboard.
    • Candidates can apply for only one district; multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
    • Verify details carefully before submission; no modifications are allowed after submission.
  3. Printout:
    • Candidates should retain a printout for reference. No hard copy submission is required at the time of application.

Interview & Call Letter

  • Call letters will be available for download from the candidate profile approximately two weeks before the interview.
  • Notifications will be sent via email/SMS.
  • Candidates must ensure active email and mobile numbers during the process.
  • Attendance at the interview is mandatory for selection consideration.
