Educational Qualification
1. Trade Apprentices (ITI/B.Sc):
- Full-time ITI in the relevant trade from an institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- B.Sc in Chemistry from a recognized University for Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) trade.
2. Graduate Apprentices:
- B.E./B.Tech in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
3. Technician Apprentices:
- Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant field from a recognized Board/University.
- Diploma in Commercial Practice for the respective trade.
Note:
- Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks (First Class).
- For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, the requirement is 50% marks (Second Class).
- Equivalent qualification holders must produce a valid Equivalency Certificate.
Age Limit (as on 01.11.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- No upper age limit specified for Apprenticeship as per the Apprentices Act.
Reservation
Reservations for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, and PwBD categories will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines. Candidates must produce valid certificates in the prescribed format at the time of verification.
Physical Standards
Candidates must meet the minimum physical fitness standards as per Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 and subsequent amendments.
