Salary Scale
The pay structure for IISER Berhampur faculty positions follows the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) norms:
- Professor: Pay Level 14A – ₹1,59,100/- (starting pay) + allowances.
- Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2 – ₹1,39,600/- (starting pay) + allowances.
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Pay Level 12 – ₹1,01,500/- (starting pay).
- After 3 years of service with satisfactory performance, candidates can move to Level 13A1 with initial pay of ₹1,31,400/-.
