Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must hold a Ph.D. together with a first-class or equivalent qualification in the prior academic degree.
- Required: Specialization in the applicable subject area with proven academic excellence.
Age Limit

Experience
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industry experience.

Pay Scale
- Assistant Professor Grade II:
- Pay Level 10 (₹70,900 basic pay)
- Moves to Pay Level 11 after 1 year
- Assistant Professor Grade I:
- Pay Level 12 (₹1,01,500 basic pay)
- Moves to Pay Level 13A1 (₹1,31,400 – 2,04,700) after 3 years
