Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess any one of the following full-time degrees from a recognized institution or university:
- B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central/State Institute of Hotel Management (CIHM/SIHM/PIHM) affiliated with NCHMCT/UGC/AICTE/Government of India.
- BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts from Indian Culinary Institutes under the Ministry of Tourism.
- B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science from Government-recognized universities affiliated with UGC/AICTE/Government of India/State Government.
- MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from Government-recognized universities affiliated with UGC/AICTE.

Selection Process
The selection process will be carried out through Walk-in Interviews only. There is no written exam or online test.

Scope of Work and Job Responsibilities
Hospitality Monitors are expected to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction in IRCTC’s catering and tourism services. Their duties include:
- Supervision of Food Production and Service Quality – Monitoring food production, hygiene, and service quality in trains and static catering units.
- Monitoring Mobile and Static Units – Supervising IRCTC-managed facilities such as Vande Bharat, Mail/Express trains, Tourist Trains, Bharat Gaurav Trains, Base Kitchens, and Cluster Kitchens.
- Ensuring Cleanliness and Hygiene – Overseeing pest control, equipment functionality, and cleanliness of pantry areas.
- In-Train Operations – Traveling on-board trains across India to monitor service delivery and passenger experience.
- Compliance and Standards – Ensuring adherence to IRCTC’s operational policies and hospitality procedures.

General Conditions and Instructions
- The engagement is purely contractual and does not guarantee any regular or permanent employment in IRCTC.
- The engagement will remain provisional until antecedent verification is completed by competent authorities.
- False information, misrepresentation, or concealment of facts will result in immediate termination without notice or compensation.
- Either side can terminate the contract by giving one month’s notice.
- Unsatisfactory performance during the contract may lead to termination with 15 days’ notice.
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

- IRCTC reserves full rights to cancel, modify, or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
