1. Technical Assistant (Level 07: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
Electronics
- Vacancies: 27 (UR – 14, OBC – 09, SC – 01, ST – 01, EWS – 02)

- Nature of Job: Design, testing, integration, measurement, analysis, maintenance, screening, and calibration of electronic systems.

Mechanical

- Qualification: Graduation + First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science.
- Nature of Job: Managing library circulation, cataloguing, acquisition, information services, document arrangement, collection management, and user orientation.

Salary and Pay Scale
- Pay Level: Level 07 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
- Approximate Gross Emoluments: ₹78,000/- per month

Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in two stages:
- Written Test:
- 80 Multiple Choice Questions (Curriculum based).
- Duration: 90 minutes.
- Marking: +1 for correct answer, -0.33 for wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- UR/EWS: 32/80
- Reserved categories: 24/80 (only for reserved posts)
- Skill Test (Qualifying Only):
- Ratio: 1:5 (minimum 10 candidates).
- Qualifying Marks:
- UR/EWS: 50/100
- Reserved categories: 40/100
- Final empanelment based on written test marks. In case of tie, academic qualification marks will be considered.

- Applications will be accepted online only through the VSSC website.
- Candidates registered on the National Career Service (NCS) portal can also apply via ISRO website.
- Upload required documents including caste, disability, ex-servicemen, and EWS certificates (if applicable).

- Posts are temporary but likely to continue.
- Candidates must meet qualifications as of 18 June 2025.
- Candidates employed in Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies must submit NOC at the time of skill test.
