Eligibility Criteria – Qualification and Experience
The eligibility criteria differ for each post and are based on educational qualification, professional experience, and administrative expertise. All candidates must meet the minimum academic and professional requirements to be considered.
Registrar, Finance Officer, Controller of Examinations
Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in a point scale where grading is used.
Experience:
Candidates may fulfill any of the following criteria:
- Minimum 15 years as an Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 or above or 8 years in Academic Level 12 including experience as Associate Professor with educational administration experience.
- Comparable experience in research establishments or other institutions of higher education.
- 15 years of administrative experience, including at least 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent post.
Deputy Registrar
Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
Experience:
- Nine years as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 10 or above with administrative experience, or
- Comparable experience in research or higher education institutions, or
- Five years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent post.
University Deputy Director of Physical Education
Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field. Candidates from outside the university system must also have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
Experience:
- Eight years as University Assistant DPES or College DPES.
- Proven record in organizing competitions, coaching camps (minimum 2 weeks), and producing successful athletes/teams in state, national, or inter-university competitions.
- Must pass a physical fitness test with the following norms:

Experience:
- Minimum five years of supervisory experience in establishment/legal matters within Government, Semi-Government, PSU, Autonomous organizations, or higher education institutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general administration, rules, and regulations.
- Preference for candidates with Olympic, World Cup, or World Championship medals with postgraduate qualifications.
Age Limit
Age limits will be as per JPSC rules, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories following Government of India guidelines.

Application and examination fee must be paid through the One Time Registration System (OTRS).
