Educational Qualification & Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for all teaching positions shall be as per UGC / ICAR regulations and Government of Gujarat norms.
1. Professor & Its Equivalent
- Ph.D. degree in the concerned / relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching / research / extension experience.
- Evidence of published work with at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Minimum API score as per ICAR/UGC regulations.
- Experience in guiding Ph.D. students.
2. Associate Professor & Its Equivalent
- Good academic record with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching / research / extension.
- Minimum API score requirement as per university norms.
3. Assistant Professor & Its Equivalent
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- NET / SLET / SET qualification is mandatory (except for disciplines where it is not conducted).
- Ph.D. candidates are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- Relaxation of 5% marks for SC / ST / PwD candidates as per rules.

The selection will be based on the following criteria:
