These vacancies are for Boat Operations Trainee roles, open to both male and female candidates.
Selected candidates will undergo hands-on training while working on Water Metro operations.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Boat Operations Trainee
Educational Requirement:
- Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in any one of the following ITI trades:
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Machinist
- AC Mechanic
- Diesel Mechanic
- Must have completed a Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics with minimum 60% marks.
Additional Requirement:
- Possession of a GPR (General Purpose Rating) Certificate is preferred.
- Applicants without a GPR license can apply, but they will receive a lower stipend until obtaining the certificate.
Experience:
- No prior experience needed — freshers can apply.
Health Standards:
- Candidates must have excellent vision (6/6 eyesight) and should not have squint or colour-blindness.
Age Limit:
- Up to 28 years as of 01 November 2025.

2. Fleet Manager (Maintenance)
Educational Requirement:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Naval Architecture.
Professional Certification:
- Should possess MEO Class 1 or Master (FG) certificate.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in shipyard operations or managing operations & maintenance of vessels.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age 56 years.
3. Manager (Finance)
Educational Requirement:
- Must be a qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) or ICWA (Cost Accountant).
Experience:
- Should have at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in:
- Finance and accounts
- Budgeting
- Working capital management
Preferably in a PSU or a reputed private company.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age 50 years.
4. Marketing Executive
Educational Requirement:
- MBA in Marketing from any recognized institute/university.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in:
- Revenue growth activities
- Marketing campaigns
- Sponsorship acquisition
- Sales or promotional strategies
Age Limit:
- Maximum age 35 years.
5. Consultant (Civil)
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in handling major civil infrastructure projects, preferably within government or PSU environments.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age 63 years.
Pay Scale
Boat Operations Trainee
- During First Year Training:
- Rs. 9,000 per month (with GPR certificate)
- Rs. 7,000 per month (without GPR certificate, until certificate is obtained)
- Advanced Training – Second Year:
- Rs. 17,000 per month (for ITI qualification)
- Rs. 18,000 per month (for Diploma qualification)
- Advanced Training – Third Year:
- Rs. 19,000 per month (for ITI qualification)
- Rs. 20,000 per month (for Diploma qualification)
Fixed Term / Contract Post – Salary Details
- Fleet Manager (Maintenance):
- Pay Scale: E4 Grade – Rs. 29,100 to Rs. 54,500 (IDA)
- Manager (Finance):
- Pay Scale: E2 Grade – Rs. 20,600 to Rs. 46,500 (IDA)
- Marketing Executive:
- Pay Scale: S1 Grade – Rs. 10,750 to Rs. 29,000 (IDA)
- Consultant (Civil):
- Consolidated Pay: Rs. 69,000 per month
