The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), one of the most trusted financial institutions in the country, has always been committed to empowering women and providing them with sustainable opportunities for growth and financial independence. In this direction, LIC has launched the Bima Sakhi Recruitment under the Mahila Career Agent (MCA) Scheme. This scheme is exclusively designed for women, offering them a stipend-based opportunity for three years, along with performance-linked benefits.

Unlike regular employment, the MCA scheme does not treat the appointment as salaried employment in LIC. Instead, it provides women with a platform to work as career agents, gain financial independence, and simultaneously contribute to LIC’s mission of extending insurance coverage to every household in India.
