Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for recruitment, candidates must satisfy the following conditions:

1. Nationality:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit:

  • Age Limit Details
  • Minimum Age: 18 years. 
  • Maximum Age: 33 years for male candidates in the Unreserved/General category. 
  • Age Relaxation: Additional age relaxation is provided for reserved categories and female candidates, following the official recruitment rules of the MPESB. 

3. Educational Qualification:

  • Applicants must possess the required educational and professional qualifications for the respective posts as specified in the Departmental Recruitment Rules.
  • Certificates and documents must be in original at the time of verification.

4. Aadhaar Registration:

  • Aadhaar registration is mandatory for all candidates.
  • Candidates must provide original photo ID proof such as Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, or Passport during the examination.

5. Biometric Verification:

  • Multi-level Aadhaar-based biometric verification will be conducted at the time of admission to the examination hall.

Pay Scale & Benefits

Candidates selected for these posts will be entitled to competitive salary and allowances as per Madhya Pradesh government norms:

  1. Subedar (Ministerial) – Stenographer:
    • Pay Scale: ₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800
    • Additional benefits and allowances as per state government rules
  2. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Ministerial):
    • Pay Scale: ₹19,500 – ₹62,000

Method of Selection

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

  1. Online Examination (Computer-Based Test):
    • The exam will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on relevant subjects.
    • Duration: 2 hours per session
    • Reporting time for candidates: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM (Morning Session), 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM (Afternoon Session)
    • Time to read instructions: 10 minutes
    • Exam Time: 2 hours
  2. Document Verification:
    • Candidates must bring original documents including educational certificates, caste certificates, Aadhaar card, and other necessary documents for verification.
  3. Biometric Verification:
    • Aadhaar-based biometric verification will be conducted at the examination centre.

Reservation Policy

  • Reservation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories as per state and central government norms.
  • Ex-Servicemen: 10% of total vacancies are reserved.
  • Female Candidates: 35% of total posts are reserved for women.
  • Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Reservation applies as per government rules.

Candidates must provide valid certificates issued by the competent authority for OBC, SC/ST, EWS, or PwBD status as applicable.
