Pay Scale / Salary
The selected candidates will receive salary as per the UGC 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay structure. The level of pay depends on the position:

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Manipur University Recruitment Rules. The eligibility varies by post as follows:
1. Professor
- A Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in a university/college or equivalent research experience.
- Evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Contribution to research guidance at the doctoral level.
2. Associate Professor
- A Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline.
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- At least 8 years of teaching/research experience at an academic/research institution.
- Published research in reputed academic journals.
3. Assistant Professor
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject.
- NET/SET/SLET qualification conducted by UGC or CSIR.
