Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria differ for the two posts based on professional qualifications.
1. For Young Professional (YP):
- Essential Qualification: Must be a qualified member of ICAI (Chartered Accountant), or ICoAI (ICMAI – Cost Accountant), or ICSI (Company Secretary).
2. For Assistant Young Professional (AYP):
- Essential Qualification: Must have passed the Intermediate or Executive level examination of ICAI, ICoAI (ICMAI), or ICSI.
General Requirements for Both Posts:
- Age Limit: A candidate should not be more than 35 years of age as of 30th October 2025.
- Skills: Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Young Professionals are expected to have good working knowledge of computer and ICT applications.
Pay Scale and Remuneration
The engagement is for a maximum period of three years with a consolidated monthly remuneration as detailed below:
For Young Professional:
- 1st Year: ₹ 75,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹ 80,000 per month (includes ₹5,000 increment)
- 3rd Year: ₹ 85,000 per month (includes ₹5,000 increment)
For Assistant Young Professional:
- 1st Year: ₹ 40,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹ 42,500 per month (includes ₹2,500 increment)
- 3rd Year: ₹ 45,000 per month (includes ₹2,500 increment)
Additional Allowance:
- An additional payment of ₹2,500 per day will be made for attending office on Sundays and holidays, based on work requirements.
Selection Process
- The selection for these contractual positions will be made purely on the basis of merit.
- Each respective professional institute (ICAI, ICSI, or ICMA) will prepare the merit list of candidates for the posts applied under their respective streams.
- The Ministry reserves the right to modify the number of posts or not to fill them as per requirement.
